Artem Agafonov Pro

Artem Agafonov is an award winning filmmaker with experience in linear and digital media production. He runs his own full-production company, Navigo.nyc, which works with a diverse array of brands including The Apollo Theater,  Nike, Vertex, Steinway & Sons, and The Oscars.

He helped to produce, shoot and edit E-@thletes (2008) and continued to work as a cinematographer and producer on short and feature length documentaries. Whale Fall (After life of a Whale) was shot for RadioLab and The Animated Life of A.R. Wallace was shot for the New York Times. Artem continued on to shoot and collaborate with Ben Selkow on Buried Above Ground (2015) and directed his first feature documentary - Up For Air - which had a small theatrical release in the US in 2016.
