Andy Trimlett

Andy Trimlett is a documentary filmmaker, television producer and fundraising consultant.  He has worked as a producer for public television since 2006, most recently producing Yakov Smirnoff's Happily Ever Laughter: The Neuroscience of Romantic Relationships. He has produced national television programs about the Middle East and related issues for the non-profit organization Alternate Focus since 2004. Andy has worked as producer, camera operator, editor, writer, and/or narrator for dozens of local and national programs. He received a regional Emmy for a public television documentary he co-produced about California’s Proposition 13.  

He has a decade of experience in fundraising for public television and radio and works as a consultant for PBS, PBS stations, NPR stations and crowdfunding campaigns for documentary filmmakers.

Andy is director of 1948: Creation & Catastrophe, a documentary about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
