Alan Adelson works equally in film and print. He produced and co-directed with Kathryn Taverna "Lodz Ghetto," which won the annual award of the Federation of International Film Critics, produced and directed Two Villages in Kosovo, with the sponsorship of ARTE, and is currently finishing In Bed With Ulysses, a documentary film homage to James Joyce's Ulysses. In print media, his fiction has appeared in the New Yorker Magazine, and his investigative journalism ran extensively as page one features for the Wall Street Journal, and in Esquire and Playboy Magazines. He is the founder and executive director of Films for Humanity and of Jewish Heritage, cultural organizations based in New York City.
