Public bio

I produce documentary films at Twin Cities PBS in partnership with local non-profits as part of our Minnesota TPT Partnerships department. My first full-length documentary at TPT was nominated for an Emmy and shared stories of gratitude through food, music and cultural celebrations of new American communities called "Giving Thanks in Many Voices". I most recently wrapped production on a series of short videos profiling Muslim female leaders in Minnesota, called "Muslim Sheroes of Minnesota"  which were broadcast on our station, also went viral through social media and are now making the rounds at short film festivals.

I enjoy freelancing on Independent documentaries as well, as a field producer, production manager, videographer, or editor. Companies that I've freelanced for include: Dinky Productions, Frozen Feet Films, Emergent Pictures, New Day Films, ZAG Line Productions, Hard Working Movies, Copacetic Pictures, Transform Films and Stranger Than Fiction.
