Stephanie Lucas earned her BA in English Literature from University of Arizona before going on to receive her MA in Interdisciplinary Studies from New York University, which focused on documentary film, art, and social change.

            With her husband, Josh Kasselman, Stephanie is the co-founder of the production company Limitrophe Films, which has produced award-winning shorts that have screened at festivals throughout the world. In addition to narrative shorts, she has created numerous experimental shorts, as well as producing documentary shorts for the Gates Foundation, Amnesty International, and Witness, a New York-based human rights organization founded by Peter Gabriel.  Stephanie is the Program Head of the Digital Cinema Arts Program at Glendale Community College, and teaches Documentaries for Social Change.

Her current film Unfinished Work was a selection for the Docs in the City, a special NEA-funded Work-in-Progress Screening program organized by Docs In Progress.
