Shannon Dyer Pro

Shannon is the Chair of the Division of Communication Studies at Ottawa University. She is an Associate Professor of Visual Communication teaching film courses with an emphasis in social justice. Documentary shorts focusing on social change dominate the film curriculum although there is a wide variety of student interests and projects. An annual trip, "Ottawa at Sundance," kicks off the spring courses in cinematography as agent of social change and film production. Student programs and projects are highly individualistic and based on interests and career goals.
