Bio
Producer, Director, Writer, Photographer, TV-Program host. Born in Kampala, Uganda. BA in Film and TV Production from Brooks Institute of Photography Santa Barbara CA, USA. Graduated with honors in 1991 followed by employment at Steven Spielbergs production company Amblin Entertainment before producing and directing his own films. In Sweden Othman has produced several feature films and directed a number of Short films and documentaries. Othman had his Swedish feature film debut in fall of 2005 as writer and director of ABOUT SARA starring Linda Zilliacus and Alexander Skarsgård. The film won the Grand Prix for Best Film at the 28th International Moscow Film Festival 2006.
