Since childhood, I have grown an interest in Chinese and History. I liked the imagery hidden in the Chinese poems and writings, along with the story full of climax in the history. Now I make documentary because I think imagery and story can be told with documentary. I believe image has the greatest power to change the world. Focusing on filmmaking now, I hope documentary can serve as a medium for conversation between the artist and the society and I wish I can create more works which bring positive meanings to the general publics.
“I like to observe the changes of the society.” Changes are interesting yet realistic. People like to see things that change, but they are often grounded by their own life and ignore things around them. Thus they always need other people to remind them this. How fun this society is!
