Mary Liz Thomson is an award-winning filmmaker and editor.  She recently edited a one hour TV documentary about Hospice, The Nurse With The Purple Hair. Thomson Directed and Edited the multi-award winning feature documentary, Who Bombed Judi Bari?  This emotionally dramatic story plays like a thriller, and is an inside account of the battle with Big Timber to save the last of California’s ancient redwoods.  She is a passionate storyteller who can make sense of complex material and find the emotional story beats that connect. She has edited many documentaries and commercials, was Lead Assistant Editor on a Nat Geo Wild TV Series, and she has worked at Post and VFX facilities on films such as I am Legend and Spiderman 3, and on Sundance Channel TV Series Sierra Club Chronicles. Thomson has worked with Sean Cunningham and Crystal Lake Entertainment in numerous positions over the years, including Assistant Editing on a Syfy Channel movie and as an Assistant.
