Runaway Kite is a small creative power house founded by Malcolm DeSoto. 

I handle every aspect of operations from client relations, conceptualization, filming, final compositing and visual effects work to final output. In addition to my portfolio of commercial work, I’ve been hired for feature and short films, nonprofit PSAs and essentially every type of video project there is.

The honing of my craft and pursuit of knowledge remains constant. Learning innovative techniques and technologies inspires me, as does collaborating with other creative individuals. I strive to produce content in new, artistic and thought-provoking ways, whether for a documentary, music video or commercial advert in any medium or format.

What I'm really interested in is telling compelling stories in any medium or format.
