Lauren Lexton is an Emmy Award winning Producer and the co-founder and CEO of Authentic Entertainment, a leading producer of non-fiction television programming. Named to Realscreen Magazineʼs “Global 100” list every year from 2007 to the present, Authentic has produced hit series Flipping Out!, Knife Fight, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, Best Thing I Ever Ate, Ace of Cakes and numerous other projects which include short form and documentary. Prior to co-founding Authentic, Lauren worked as a Show Runner, Director, Writer and Producer for numerous network and cable series. Ms. Lexton graduated cum laude from NYUʼs Tisch School of the Arts and serves on the Board of Directors for the International Documentary Association. Her greatest passion is finding great talent and stories, and discovering that truth is stranger than fiction.
