Bio
Kim Beamish is an Australian filmmaker presently based in Cairo, Egypt where he is working on a feature documentary film about the Tentmakers of Cairo. The film titled, The Tentmakers of Chareh El Khiamiah, follows a small street of textiles artist up holding a uniquely Egyptian art form as they face the consequences of a revolution and the impact of globalization.
