Bio
Jamie Deradorian-Delia is a New Jersey based documentary filmmaker with a passion for telling stories. She studied at Rutgers University gaining a B.A. in English and Documentary Filmmaking with a minor in Cinema studies. She is passionate, consciousness, and hungry to tell other’s stories.
Some of her past work includes two professional level documentaries. The War Afterwhich has gained recognition by premiering at the Garden State Film Festival and wining the Spot Light Silver Documentary Award. It was also contracted by First Run Features and is slotted to be broadcast on PBS. Jamie currently holds an Associate Producer credit on this piece.
The Sky Catcher which was funded by the National Science Foundation is slotted to premiere on PBS. Jamie held multiple roles on this film such as field producer, director, sound, and editor.
Jamie has most recently worked as DP and Editor on the web-series To Queer Things Upwhich was supported by a grant obtained through the Tyler Clementi Center of Rutgers.
