American native, schooled in Switzerland, started working in Los Angeles as an assistant to video artist Bill Viola, then assistant editing on documentaries for example Soul Of A Man by Wim Wenders and Dogtown and Z-Boys by Stacy Peralta, on Dogtown and Z-Boys I was mentored by the magnificent editor Paul Crowder and was given an Additional Editor credit. I went on to edit trailers at Antfarm and Mark Woollen Associates, editing the award winning trailers for 21 Grams and Lost In Translation.
Moving back to Switzerland for family reasons I started editing fictional features, two of them namely Road Rascals and Grounding went on to enjoy great box office and critical success in Switzerland. At the swiss national television station I edited 22 documentaries in 4 years. Relocated to Los Angeles in 2010, I am working out of my home studio. Currently I am editing a feature documentary about Greenland.
