Eddie Schmidt Pro

Eddie Schmidt is an Oscar nominated documentary filmmaker, writer/producer, and commentator. He is best-known for producing and co-writing THIS FILM IS NOT YET RATED, and producing and shooting the Academy Award nominated TWIST OF FAITH, both of which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. As a pundit, Schmidt has appeared on MSNBC, G4, IFC, Starz and Encore, and he frequently speaks at film festivals, universities, and live events. Schmidt is currently the President of the Board of IDA (International Documentary Association), and was the organization's interim Executive Director for the latter half of 2008. He recently directed a pilot presentation for HBO Documentary Films/Lionsgate, and is currently directing, writing, and producing television comedy.
