Bio
I’m an Emmy-nominated documentary producer with over 15 years of experience working in television and film development, production and post-production. Most recently I co-produced the award-winning documentary American Winter, which aired on HBO and was nominated for an Emmy in 2014. I am currently consulting on a new documentary (in production) called The Race to Save the World about people fighting climate change.
For nearly a decade, I've collaborated with Emmy-winning documentary filmmakers Joe and Harry Gantz at their production company, View Film, on a number of projects, including HBO's "Taxicab Confessions" and a variety of documentaries for Showtime, A&E, The Sundance Channel and Channel 5 in the UK. In addition, I directed and produced the award-winning feature documentary film "GORK!", and produced the documentary "Destination: Change Our World" for Amnesty International. I’m a University of Iowa alum and got my foot in the door straight out of college as an Academy of Television Arts & Sciences intern at Viacom Productions.
I have a love of cultural diversity and social justice, and I‘ve traveled extensively around the world, including Southeast Asia, Central and South America, Australia, India, Europe and Zimbabwe.
