Banker White Pro

Banker White (Director) is a multi-disciplinary artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is the director and producer of the award-winning documentary Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars. The film was nominated by the International Documentary Association for best feature in 2006 and was broadcast on PBS and internationally. His collaborative filmmaking and storytelling project WeOwnTV is supported by Creative Capital, Freedom to Create and was a 2008 Bay Area Video Coalition Media Maker Award recipient. He is a 2009 recipient of a research and development grant from the California Council for Humanities, for his documentary film, My Life Before Me- una historia oral de Carlos Lazaro Aldama Perez . Recently he was Director of Photography on the music video Epilepsy is Dancing 2009 for international recording artist Antony and the Johnsons, directed by the Wachowski Brothers (The Matrix) and is Director of Photography for the frontier times thriller Mountain Duel (in production).
