Robert Stone has been independently writing, directing, editing and producing films for over ten years. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Robert is currently based in New Haven, Connecticut, where he has partnered with local filmmakers as well as artists and students from Yale University in a number of projects within various genres. His current projects include documentaries, hyperlapse photography and short films.
Robert is actively recruiting cast and crew, specifically actors, cinematographers and audio technicians to become involved in two ongoing projects; a science fiction short film and a dark comedy short film. His newest project, partnering with his wife at Yale’s School of Forestry and Environmental Science, is a documentary following efforts of academics and professionals involved in communicating science and facilitating dialogue between scientists, policy makers, business executives and the general public. Robert also served on the programming committee for Yale’s Environmental Film Festival.
Robert has experience and training in a wide range of genres and filmmaking software; starting with broadcasting school in Maryland, he has since acquired training in programs such as Avid, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects, Photoshop and Encore.
