Welcome to The NEW D-Word.
To make the transition from the New Cafe as easy as possible, Peter did his best to make sure you'll find everything already in place. With one exception: Your count of new postings has been reset.
But from now on, the count will hopefully work in the same way you've been used to.
Not only for the smooth transition, Peter Gerard does deserve the highest praise for weeks and months of work on The NEW D-Word.
Thank you very much, Peter, and thank you to all the Members of The D-Word who contributed to making this happen.
Peter's done a really great job, working day and night fixing, adjusting and improving all you see here.
While some of us have just been beta-testing as users, let's not overlook the many, many dedicated hours put in by our co-host Ben Kempas.

If you get any server errors, including those saying "We're sorry but something went wrong, please let us know here. Carefully describe what you did when it happened.

Wow, Tom, so that's what you look like! What silly said that seeing our images would dampen the experience?
I'm getting errors when using the link to read postings after mine. The general "Read New Postings" link seems to work fine.
I'm sure Peter will look into this once he had some sleep...
Congrats guys! I was so happy to get the email that things were up and running! I've been stranded at the airport in Barcelona for the last 12 hours. Perfect timing to play around in the new D-word.
whoops, I am about to double post, cause the other was in playing around as I didn't notice help. How do I change my password back to something I can remember?

Peter, "the fixer" Gerard. Only thing I don't like is being called member. Kind of makes me self conscious and wonder what a female member should be called.
Yes, I'm the fixer all right, and I can even fix your post so there's an "r" at the end of my first name!
OK I read the instructions, and now I see that the links are to the posts that are in the various topics.
So far so good. THANK YOU PETER! AND BEN. AND DOUG. AND EVERYONE ELSE WHO WAS A PART OF MAKING THE NEW D-WORD HAPPEN. Sorry I'm yelling. I'm just so bloody excited.
It could be that I need to look a little further, but are you going to have instructions, or panels that show the tools you can use - on the posting pages? It would be wonderful.
