Member/owner at New Day Films, distributing award-winning educational films since 1971, / Director/Producer/Editor, Fixed: The Science/Fiction of Human Enhancement, a 60 minute documentary exploring human enhancement technologies, disability, and transhumanism. Co-Producer & Community Engagement Coordinator for THE GROVE (, June 2010- November 2012. Community Engagement Coordinator for Academy Award-shortlisted UNDER OUR SKIN (, June 2010-November 2012. Producer & Community Engagement Coordinator @ Open Eye Pictures, Sausalito, CA, June 2010-November 2012. DP/Editor, Facing Poverty at UCLA and Facing Poverty at Cal (HD), two TV commercials about the plight of service workers at UC. Editor, Facing Poverty At UC, 10 minute documentary and a series of short web videos for each UC campus. Producer/Co-Director, Perspective, (16mm), starring Academy Award winning cinematographer Haskell Wexler, a trailer to promote the Reel Work Labor Film Festival. Screened in 35mm in Santa Cruz, CA, theaters, Spring 2006-2009. Producer, Director, Photographer & Editor, Fiat Respect: UC Clericals and Lecturers' Strike of 2002, a 35 minute documentary which covers one of the largest strikes in UC history. Fiat Respect! has screened in four labor film festivals, been used in history & sociology classes at UCSC and as an organizing tool for UC unions. Co-Director, Beyond the Binary, 2002; an eight minute documentary questioning the gender binary from the perspective of several transgendered individuals and their partners. Premiered at Phoenix Rising Festival in Santa Cruz, CA, 2004. Producer, Director, Photographer and Writer, Queer Eye for the Bourgeois Guy, 2004, a nine minute parody using humor to talk about an alternative approach to makeovers, a "political makeover" of sorts. Premiered at the Phoenix Rising Festival, 2004 and at the Reel Work Labor Film Festival, 2007. Assistant Director, TV commercial for Henry Cowell State Park 50th Anniversary Event, 2004, (DV). Aired on 5 stations in May, 2004. Festival Organizer/Producer, Reel Work Labor Film Festival, Santa Cruz, CA, 2003 & 2004. Board Member and Education Coordinator, CINEMAR, 2003-2005. Co-created a local organization which supports and provides resources for Monterey Bay film and video artists.
