Synopsis

In Idaho, as in many U.S. states, tens of thousands lack access to healthcare. With no political experience or backing, Emily and Garrett Strizich and their friend Luke Mayfield start a campaign to take Medicaid expansion directly to citizens. They paint an old camper green and drive all over the state, so that they can knock on doors and speak to voters face-to-face, regardless of party affiliation. They meet opposition from right-wing groups and local democrats alike, but also volunteers to join the fight, and wide support from ordinary people. The film covers the final push in the days before the 2018 election.
