Va is an experimental drone project started in 2017 by Viktor Seremetkoski, formerly of Okazaki Fragments, Mark of Cain, and Black Pestilence. "Va" means to continue, carry on. The main intent of Va is healing through sound. The music delves into healing, nurturing and mysticism. Song 161 is a testament of that, and it was created with specific frequencies that are meant to repair ailments in the body. 161 Hz is the frequency that the song revolves around. There is no one genre that Va can be lumped into. The band has been described as a black metal ambient entity, as well as a doom metal band. Some have described it as drone and ambient.
