I wear many hats as a filmmaker, director, editor, videographer and producer. My background includes editing documentaries,feature films and producing multimedia content. Current films in the works that I am directing/producing are "Saving Blackfoot" a documentary about a family of animal rescue workers and Hannah and Halvor; Letters from a China Mission 1891-1907- a mixed media play that includes film projections.
Currently, I am producing and editing a half hour film for the Scarsdale Historical Society. Recently I was the editor of Under A Stone directed by William Klayer a 24 minute dramatic short shown in festivals (2016). I also edited a 15 minute doc about the artist Dennis Downes author of an amazing book,"American Trail Marker Trees" and I am now working with director Gary Donatelli to finish a longer version (2016).
Lesley Topping Media and Brookfilm Productions also produces videos and provides a range of photography and video services for independents, businesses and public and private events ( clients include: Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, DeSantis Breindel, Overseas Press Club, Piper Theatre, Hard Working Movies, Downes Studio, Cauldwell Wingate Construction, Scarsdale Historical Society and many others)
