Theater credits include MANIGMA (starring Michael Aronov (THE DROP, HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH), LILY: her life, his music (DiCapo Opera Theater) starring mezzo-soprano, Audrey Babcock, and THE WINTER'S TALE with Omar Metwally (MIRAL, MUNICH), a rock musical produced for The Rude Mechanicals Theater Company.
David has also worked as a coach with actors on set who are playing musicians for such films as THE MUSIC NEVER STOPPED(Sundance Film Festival), starring J.K. Simmons, Julia Ormand, and Lou Taylor Pucci, and GREETINGS FROM TIM BUCKLEY, starring Imogen Poots and Penn Badgley. He was also commissioned to compose original works for HELIOS DANCE COMPANY (choreographer, Laura Gorenstein Miller) and LABYRINTH DANCE THEATER (choreographer, Sasha Spielvogel). He has written for animation with director Chris Miller (PUSS IN BOOTS, SHREK THE THIRD), as an orchestrator with composer Paul Cantelon (DIVING BELL AND THE BUTTERFLY) and as a programmer and arranger with recording artists Lou Reed, Fernando Saunders and violinist Daisy Jopling of the string trio Triology.
