Tatyana Bronstein is an award-winning documentary director and producer based in Boston. Her work is character-driven and visually cinematic, focusing on intimate human stories that challenge stereotypes and explore resilience, art, and identity.

Her films include Prima (2014), which premiered at the Dance on Camera Festival at the Film Society of Lincoln Center; Make Me Dance (2017), an award-winning feature documentary set at the Boston Conservatory; and Woman in the Mirror (2023), which has screened internationally and has been broadcast multiple times on GBH over the past several years.

Tatyana holds an MFA in Media Arts from Emerson College and is a lecturer in the Department of Film & Television at Boston University. Born in Ukraine, her filmmaking bridges American and European sensibilities with a deeply human approach to storytelling.
