I am a TV assistant producer and an award-winning filmmaker with a journalistic background and particularly interested in thought-provoking projects with a strong human-interest story. I am comfortable with both location and office environments and am willing to work away from home for long periods of time.
I have worked on, as well as set up international shoots (England, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Sweden, Romania, France, Italy, Brazil, Netherlands, Spain, Mexico, Panama) – my work reflect an editorial integrity alongside my ability to deal with people from all walks of life.
Trained by the British TV industry over a period of 7 years, I have experience in factual, factual entertainment series, high-profile entertainment shows and observational documentaries with credits across National Geographic Channel, Al Jazeera English, Channel 4, Channel 7 Australia, Globo Network, Shine Australia and Discovery International.
I have produced and directed my own short films commissioned by British and International organisations such as One World Media, Brunel University, Siemens and London’s Camden Council - my work has been selected and won awards in festivals and competitions worldwide. My latest commissioned work, a promo video for a mental health community organisation called Project Embrace, can be seen at http://www.project-embrace.com/about.
Having lived in the UK for 14 years (2001-2015) I am currently based in Brazil and am prepared to relocate for freelance contracts at anytime.
