I have been in the film industry for a little over a year. I am a documentary filmmaker in the early stages. I would like to find a mentor eventually to help guide me. I am here to also gain knowledge from others that are more advanced than myself for funding, doc events and workshops, and also learn of mistakes other filmmakers have made so I can avoid if possible. My main subjects of interest for docs are mental health and inmates in the US prison system.
