Bio
Master’s Degree in Film and Video Production by the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), Australia, with a scholarship of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts of Mexico (FONCA). Bacherlor’s Degree in Social Communication by the Metropolitan Autonomous University (UAM), Mexico.
Independent director and documentary filmmaker. Adrián has worked as director, editor, producer and cinematographer of different award-winning documentary, fiction and television projects, and in the production of diverse film festivals, such as Morelia International Film Festival and Mexico City’s International Contemporary Film Festival. He’s also worked in the production of audiovisual pieces for different museums, directed the casting for 8 Mexican fiction features and imparted audiovisual production workshops for institutions like the National Council for Culture and the Arts of Mexico (CONACULTA), Casa Wabi, Heróica Ciudad Juárez Film Festival (IMCINE), the Autonomous Metropolitan University (UAM), the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the Fund for the Arts of the BBVA Bancomer Bank’s Foundation.
