Overview
- Synopsis
Virtually unknown in Serbia where he lives with his wife in a small apartment in Belgrade, Stevan Labudovic is a hero on the other side of the Mediterranean, where the Algerian people celebrate his role in their liberation war, when he joined the fight for freedom by filming images that helped give anti-colonialism a voice in the international arena.
With a cineaste's eye, trained over a lifetime spent as President Tito’s cameraman, Labudovic delves into his filmed archives, reliving the epic moments in the creation of the Non-Aligned movement, whose leaders he captured through the lens of a camera, and whose countries he would document at the time of their emergence.- Stage
