Screening Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in hosting a screening of WAR & PEACE - a D-Word Collaborative Project.

WAR & PEACE is an ongoing collaboration of documentary filmmakers responding to the terrorist attacks of September 11 and the ensuing international crisis. In addition to streaming video on the web, we encourage live screenings to promote discussion and dialog at the grassroots level.

The production and distribution of WAR & PEACE is an entirely volunteer effort. We encourage you to organize screenings that are free for the audience. However, we realize this is not always possible. Please contact us in advance and tell us about your screening, including: city, state/province, country, date, time, venue and/or presenting organization, an explanation of your intended audience, and admission charge. Depending on the nature and size of your screening, we may be able to provide you with publicity materials and other support. Email warandpeace@d-word.com

WAR & PEACE is available to screen in VHS, miniDV, and other formats. You may request individual segments or a compilation tape with segments arranged chronologically.
