Welcome to The D-Word, Ashley. Very curious to hear more about your experiences with Carnivalesque. Has it been a huge time suck? Has it been more difficult or more rewarding than you anticipated? Feel free to fill us in more in the Marketing and Distribution topic.

In reply to Carlo Brescia's post on Thu 3 Dec 2009 :

Welcome/Buenvenido Carlo – I will be passing through the Cordillera Blanca Sunday! Can I see you or make guest appearance in your movie? (Enroute to Llamellin for the week-long fiesta as seen in that Soy Andina movie). D-WORDERS – Carlo is really talented and prolific, great to have him here

Hi,

I'm originally from LA but have spent the last four years in Taiwan where we shot three Asian/US based documentaries. Now, I'm in San Francisco, working on the post production for these films.

We're actually looking for editors or assistant editors (PAID) to work on these right now. They must be bi-lingual and have feature documentary experience.

Please email me (info@subtitledfilms.com) if interested.

And, nice to meet everyone! This looks like a really great website for documentary makers!

Welcome to The D-Word, Ben. Curious what you think of the SVA program. Heard good things but it would be good to hear from someone directly involved.
