I'm producing a one day shoot in Boston this Thursday for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation(www.rwjf.org) documenting a teen led event to promote healthy relationships and prevent dating violence among young people. Could anyone recommend a documentary style photojournalist who could shoot stills of the event? We're looking for local talent in Boston, someone who is unobtrusive, who can tell a story through moments, and of course high production value. Any suggestions?

DocuClub in November!
Once again, we are thrilled to partner with Tribeca All Access for our November DocuClub. The screening will take place on Wednesday, November 18, 7 p.m., at the Tribeca Cinemas, located at 54 Varick Street (corner of Laight, on block below Canal). You can take the 1, A, C, E, trains to Canal Street.
We will screen a rough cut of BEIJING TAXI by Miao Wang. The feature-length documentary vividly portrays the ancient capital of China going through a profound transformational arch. Through a humanistic lens, the intimate lives of three taxi drivers thread through the morphing city of Beijing confronted with modern issues and changing values. Though each faced with their own struggles with modernity, the three characters radiate a warm sense of humanity. With stunning imagery of Beijing combined with a contemporary score rich in atmosphere, the audience experiences a visceral sense of the common citizens’ persistent attempts to grasp the elusive. Its society is living through enormous contradictions adjusting to a new capitalist system from a Communist-ruled and educated society. BEIJING TAXI uses the Olympic games as the backdrop for the film. The Olympics is the biggest metaphor and China’s coming-out party to mark this era of China in transition. Candid and perceptive in its filming approach and highly cinematic and moody in style, BEIJING TAXI takes us on a lyrical journey into fragments of a society riding the bumpy roads to modernization. Though the destination is unknown, they continue to forge ahead.
Born and raised in Beijing, Director Miao Wang immigrated to the United States in 1990. Her first documentary, YELLOW OX MOUNTAIN, has screened at over twenty festivals, received a Best Short Film Award and a broadcast on WNET Thirteen. Wang has worked as an assistant at Maysles Films, and has edited documentaries for PBS and programs for National Geographic. For BEIJING TAXI, Wang has received grants from the Sundance Documentary Fund, the Jerome Foundation, and the New York State Council for the Arts. She has participated in the IFP Filmmaker’s Lab, Tribeca All Access, and Independent Film Week and currently splits her time between New York and Beijing. BEIJING TAXI is her first feature-length documentary.
Producer Ivana Stolkiner was born in Argentina, and moved to New York in 1998. After graduating with honors from Hunter College’s film program in 2004, Stolkiner assisted the producers of Kartemquin Films in several award-winning documentaries--MAPPING STEM CELL RESEARCH: TERRA INCOGNITA, MILKING THE RHINO and IN THE FAMILY, among others. She has assisted Engel Entertainment in films for the Discovery Channel and National Geographic, and has also served as an associate producer at Pacific Street for the documentaries IN DEBT WE TRUST and BEYOND WISE GUYS.
Editor Sikay Tang received her film training with Spike Lee’s production of JUNGLE FEVER (1991) and MALCOM X (1992). A year later, during the making of her first video, Tang began her interest in film editing. Her editing credits include the documentaries CHISHOLM 72: UNBOUGHT AND UNBOSSED (2004) by Shola Lunch, and THE GOOD SOLDIER (2009) by Michael Uys and and Lexy Lovell. Tang works as a film and video editor and lives in New York City.
Our moderator will be Adella Ladjevardi, Grants Manager at Cinereach, a not-for-profit organization that facilitates the creation of films that “challenge, excite, innovate, offer new perspectives and inspire action.” Most recently, she was the Associate Producer for 2009’S MY NEIGHBOR, MY KILLER, a documentary feature by Emmy-award winner Anne Aghion. Ladjevardi was also Associate Producer for the four-hour cut of acclaimed filmmaker Jennifer Fox’s 2008 documentary mini-series FLYING: CONFESSIONS OF A FREE WOMAN, broadcast on the BBC and SBS; and served as the Distribution and Outreach Manager for the educational and non-theatrical markets for FLYING’s six-hour version. Prior to working with Fox, Adella worked for three years in marketing and publicity at documentary film distributor Icarus Films. She was also Associate Producer of Tanaz Eshaghian’s 2002 short doc I CALL MYSELF PERSIAN: IRANIANS IN AMERICA, broadcast on PBS and screened at MoMA’s Documentary Fortnight. Ladjevardi received a BFA in photography from the Rhode Island School of Design.

The film is about the passengers of a charter bus that leaves New York City every weekend for various prisons located in upstate New York, most of them long hours away from the city.

DocuClub in December!
Our December DocuClub screening will be on Wednesday, December 2, at 7 p.m., at Goldcrest Post (799 Washington Street, between Horatio and Gansevoort), in New York City’s West Village.
We will screen a rough cut of Jill Morley’s FIGHTING IT. While taking a personal journey into the boxing ring, FIGHTING IT explores the complexities of depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, racism, and the importance of pursuing your dreams no matter what they are, what issues surround them, or gender you happen to be. It also emphasizes the value of being present and using the past to fuel your journey forward. FIGHTING IT views overcoming adversity, coping with trauma and healing from the past through the lens of boxing. The fact that such healing can take place in what many consider a violent sport is what makes these boxers’ journeys so unique and compelling.
Director Jill Morley’s STRIPPED ran on the Sundance Channel and won Best Documentary at the Women’s International Film Festival in Sydney. Her play, TRUE CONFESSIONS OF A GO-GO GIRL, was recently made into a Lifetime Movie of the Week and was published in Women Playwrights: The Best Plays of 1998. Heading the Paul Taylor Dance Company Video Archive project, Morley shot, edited, and directed the company’s repertoire for their video archive. She also worked with Michael Moore as a producer and correspondent for THE AWFUL TRUTH. In addition, Morley’s Shooting Ninjas Productions specializes in corporate videos, events and performances. Some clients include Gerber, Activision, TIME Magazine, and Kiehl’s.
Our moderator will be Danielle DiGiacomo, Community Manager at IFP, the nation's oldest and largest membership organization, and premiere advocate, for independent filmmakers. Previous to that, she was Head of Documentary Acquisitions for IndiePix Films, building up the documentary feature catalogue and spearheading the successful multi-platform releases of films such as Jeremiah Zagar's IN A DREAM, Kristi Jacobson's TOOTS, and Jason Hutt's ORTHODOX STANCE. She also developed and produced the first and second annual Cinema Eye Honors for Nonfiction Film. DiGiacomo has programmed in conjunction with the Woodstock Film Festival, Brooklyn Independent Cinema Series, and Rooftop Films, and has presented on panels about film distribution and production at the Newport International Film Festival, Hunter College, Big Sky Documentary Festival, Sheffield Doc/Fest, and Krakow Film Festival, among others. In addition, she has taught "Contemporary Documentary" and "Documentary Distribution and Marketing" at New York University.

I just got back from a 2-month stint in New Orleans editing a fellow D-Worder's documentary, and really enjoyed that experience. I'm looking for my next gig, and wanted to introduce myself to those of you who are looking for an editor.
I am a Final Cut Pro editor with several years of experience, and a number of post-production feature documentary and television credits. Projects I have worked on include an Academy Award short-list nominee, and the winner of the 2008 IDA Audience Award.
I have supervised post-production for broadcast television as well as for theatrical film-outs, and am proficient in After Effects, Photoshop, and all aspects of Final Cut Studio.
I have an excellent grasp of story structure, a good eye for comedy as well as drama, and the ability to pull out the poignant moments that make audiences love (or hate!) the characters.

We have three documentary films in post-production. All were shot and based in Taiwan and have bi-cultural storylines.
Currently, I'm looking to hire an EDITOR or ASSISTANT EDITOR for each film.
A. The editor can be located in Los Angeles or San Francisco.

"Memory is everything. Without it we are nothing," says neuroscientist Eric Kandel, winner of the Nobel Prize for his groundbreaking research on the physiology of the brain's storage of memories. As he explains, memory is the glue that binds our mental life together and provides a sense of continuity in our lives.
IN SEARCH OF MEMORY is a compelling blend of autobiography and history that recounts the life of one of the most important neuroscientists of the 20th century and illuminates scientific developments in our understanding of the brain's role in recording and preserving memory. In addition to archival footage and dramatic re-creations of Kandel's childhood experiences in Nazi-occupied Vienna and his formative years as an emigrant in New York, the film features discussions with Kandel, friends and family, as well as his public lectures in Vienna and New York, which explore both his professional and personal life, especially his emotional ties to Judaism.
Both through its personal journey into the memory of this amazingly spry and witty 79-year old, especially his traumatic experiences during the Holocaust, and a visit to his Columbia University laboratory, where Kandel and his colleagues demonstrate their experimental research, IN SEARCH OF MEMORY examines how the brain stores memories, the difference between short-term and long-term memory, Alzheimer's and age-related memory loss, and structural modifications to the brain that enhance memory.
In revisiting the people, places and objects of Kandel's lifetime experiences, IN SEARCH OF MEMORY reveals how everything we undergo changes the brain, even our genetic make-up, and can determine the focus of a life's work.

Garrett Scott Documentary Development Grant
What: This grant funds first time documentary makers for travel and accommodations at the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival, April 8-11, 2010. For four days, grant recipients will be given access to films, participate in master classes and be mentored by experienced filmmakers. TWO filmmakers will be chosen for the grant in its third year.
Deadline: Applications must be RECEIVED BY Friday, February 5, 2010. Applicants will be notified by email in early March.
About the Grant: Garrett Scott made a distinctive mark in documentary during his short career. Without any formal training in film, he directed Cul De Sac: A Suburban War Story, examining the case of a methamphetamine addict who stole a tank from an armory and went on a rampage through the San Diego suburbs. The film prompted Filmmaker Magazine to cite Scott as one of 25 New Faces of Independent Film. He went on to make Occupation: Dreamland, co-directed with Ian Olds, about U.S. soldiers in Falluja, Iraq. It won prizes at Full Frame and the Independent Spirit Awards. Both films were broadcast by the Sundance Channel. In 2006, Scott died of a heart attack at age 37.
Scott's work examined how the forces of state power and economics impact individuals. Stylistically, his films broke convention, giving audiences new perspectives on familiar milieus like suburbia or war torn Iraq. He was a beloved member of film communities in San Francisco and New York City and several points in between.
His friends, family and colleagues established this development grant to help other emerging filmmakers reach their potential. The grants selection committee looks especially for filmmakers who somehow fulfill Scott's example, by bringing a unique vision to the content and style of contemporary documentary making.
Previous grant recipients include Elinyisia Mosha and Cameron Yates in 2009, Rebecca Richman Cohen, Nathan Fisher and Mai Iskander in 2008 and Robin Hessman and Lee Lynch in 2007.
Criteria: Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder and live in the continental United States; any age 18 or older. By "first time filmmaker," we mean someone who is in the early stage of their documentary career and has not yet received significant recognition (such as major festival play or broadcast). All applicants should anticipate finishing their first project by March 2011. You still qualify as a "first time filmmaker" if you've made shorts or student projects, worked professionally as a crew member on other people's films, or if you've recently completed a documentary that hasn't been released yet. The grant is open to students and non-students alike.
How: Applicants should send a 2 page letter addressing these areas:
1) Project summary: Describe the documentary you're working on. It doesn't matter whether the film is a short or a feature, though the judging tends to favor more ambitious projects. Describe the characters, structure, visual approach and what stage you're at.
2) Director's statement: Describe how you came to filmmaking and how you've trained as a filmmaker. It doesn't matter whether you went to film school or are self-taught. Describe what you want audiences to take from your film.
Work sample: Applicants must send a 5-10 minute DVD sample of a work-in-progress or a past work. You may send a longer work sample, but judges may only review the opening minutes.

DocuClub in January!
Our January DocuClub will take place on Wednesday, January 27, 7 p.m., at the 92YTribeca, located at 200 Hudson Street (at Canal). You can take the E, 1, or 6 trains to Canal.
We will screen a rough cut of UP HEARTBREAK HILL by Erica Scharf. The documentary chronicles the lives of Thomas, Tamara and Gabby – three Native American teenagers in Navajo, New Mexico –as they navigate their senior year at a reservation high school. As graduation nears, they must decide whether to stay in their community– a place inextricably woven into the fiber of their being – or leave in pursuit of opportunities elsewhere. Largely isolated from mainstream America, they hesitate to separate from their families and traditions, rooted to home in equal parts by love, obligation and fear. Tribal elders urge members of the younger generation to leave, acquire an education or learn a trade, and return home with the skills to help their people. But, with an unemployment rate near 58% and a per capita income under $4,600, Navajo has few prospects. Thomas, Tamara and Gabby each bear amazing strength and promise, but all are products of their environment, and it is the same community that has set before them so many challenges that now asks them to become the leaders that will reshape the Navajo Nation. Their battles to shape their identities as both Native American and modern American lie at the heart of the film.
Director Erica Scharf has spent much of her career in documentary film and television. Most recently, she worked as an editor on Investigation Discovery’s documentary television series, THE SHIFT. She has shot, produced and edited numerous episodes of THE FIRST 48 (A&E). She directed and edited MARNEE: A GARAGE SALE RETROSPECTIVE, which was the First Place Winner at Movie Making Madness 2005, and edited CIY (Best Short Film, 2007 Aspen Shortsfest). Other credits include SWAT (A&E), MIAMI INK (TLC), and LAST SEEN ALIVE (Discovery). In 2005, Scharf was the Assistant Editor on GOD GREW TIRED OF US (Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award, 2006 Sundance Film Festival). Scharf is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and has a B.F.A. in Film and Television.
Producer Christina D. King’s body of work spans news, documentary, and film. After producing broadcast news in her home state of Oklahoma, King went on to associate produce the documentaries ELECTION DAY (PBS), BAD BLOOD, and human rights projects for the ACLU. Recently, she line-produced WE SHALL REMAIN: TECUMSEH’s VISION directed by Chris Eyre and Ric Burns. King also field produced for Michael Moore’s recent documentary, CAPITALISM: A LOVE STORY. A Native American of Creek/Seminole/Sac & Fox descent, King has a B.A. in Film Studies and Mass Communication from the University of Tulsa.
Executive Producer Chris Eyre’s film EDGE OF AMERICA received a 2005 Peabody Award and he was recognized with a Directors Guild Award. His first feature film, SMOKE SIGNALS, won the Audience Award and Eyre received the Filmmaker’s Trophy at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival. His other credits include A THIEF OF TIME and SKINWALKERS for PBS’s MYSTERY! In 1995, Eyre received a Rockefeller Foundation Intercultural Film Fellowship. A Cheyenne/Arapaho Native American, he earned his M.F.A. in Film and Television at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Editor Cindy Lee has worked extensively in documentary and narrative film, television, and commercials. Her feature editing credits include NO END IN SIGHT (Academy Award nominee 2008, New York Film Critics Circle 2007 Best Documentary, Sundance Special Jury Prize 2006), HOTEL GRAMERCY PARK (Special Jury Mention, Tribeca Film Festival 2008) and MANHATTAN, KANSAS (SXSW Film Festival 2006). She holds a B.A. from Wellesley College and an M.A. from Lund University in Sweden.
Editor Isaac Wayton honed his editorial skills while cutting short form documentary films, as well as various television and web projects. His documentary short, CHILDREN IN THE FIELDS (2004), has been used by multiple foundations to raise awareness about the lax child labor laws among migrant workers in the United States. He has collaborated with music artists Keith Urban and Sir Paul McCartney to create unique featurettes for the artists’ websites. His television credits include MYSTERY DIAGNOSES (Discovery Health), THE DETONATORS (Discovery), and IT TAKES A THIEF (Discovery). Wayton received his B.F.A. in Film and Video from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Our moderator will be filmmaker Almudena Carracedo. Born in Madrid, Carracedo is the Emmy-award winning Director and Producer of the documentary MADE IN L.A. Funded by ITVS, POV and the Sundance Documentary Fund, the film has received critical acclaim and international awards, including an Emmy Award, a Henry Hampton Award and a Special Mention of the Jury at the Valladolid International Film Festival. Her previous documentary on Tijuana as a border town, WELCOME, A DOCU-JOURNEY OF IMPRESSIONS, received the Sterling Award for Best Short Documentary at SILVERDOCS and screened in numerous national and international festivals. Carracedo is the 2008 recipient of NALIP's (National Association of Latino Independent Producers) ESTELA Award, and has served as a jury in several film festivals, including the SILVERDOCS, Valladolid International Film Festival and Santiago's International Documentary Festival in Chile (FIDOCS).

Docs In Progress is holding an all-day workshop next Saturday, January 23 in Silver Spring which is focused on fundraising for documentaries. This workshop is appropriate for documentary filmmakers of all experience levels – whether you have never raised funds for an independent documentary or have been frustrated by your efforts to do so.
The focus will be on providing participants with concepts and tools that can help you learn how to develop a fundraising plan, track the fundraising effort, research potential donors, conduct a fundraising drive, and solicit grants from corporations and foundations. There will be plenty of handouts of samples. The workshop is being led by Sam Hampton, an experienced fundraiser. Dr. Hampton, in addition to being the Director of Planning and Special Projects for Docs In Progress and a documentary filmmaker himself, is also the Founding Partner of Hampton Consulting, LLC which works with nonprofit, philanthropic, corporate, and public sector clients on building their strategic plans and increasing their chances of fundraising success – elements which apply just as easily to documentary filmmaking.

...People come to the fest to walk main street and troll for celebs. I heard Ben Affleck was creating quite a crowd, and I passed Michael Chiklis today. The sidewalks are continuously blocked by flocks around someone 'famous'. I am so outa da loop that I am not recognizing many faces in these spontaneous crowds. I passed by one gaggle yesterday, and did not recognize the guy who was signing autographs. Then a young lady said she wanted to tell him how much she loved him on General Hospital. Main Street is always good for a chuckle.
At a panel yesterday on Media Marketing, a panelist referred to 'District 9' as an “independent film,” because it had a budget of $30 million. The crowd groaned. More proof that the 'indy film' label has become as ubiquitous as 'fat free'...

Independent Documentary Filmmaker Seeks Outreach and Marketing Intern
I am an award winning documentary filmmaker based in Brooklyn, New York who is just finishing a new experimental short documentary about remembering called FORGET ME NOTS.
I am seeking an intern who can help me research the markets I have targeted for the distribution of this film and to help me focus my audience outreach strategy. This person must be able to employ critical thinking skills, work independently and be familiar with Mac computers. Knowledge of Excel and/or FileMaker are a plus.
This is an opportunity to get hands on experience for a very small company (rather than answering phones at a big firm) and would be ideal for someone studying marketing/outreach and/or a documentary film student who wants to learn what grass roots distribution is all about.

My name is Amanda Woods... I've posted here once before but it was many months ago and I'm sure my post is buried now, so I'm posting again.
I'm a beginning web design with a passion for documentaries. If you're in need of a website for yourself as a documentary filmmaker, or for a film, I'd love to work on it for you. I strive to keep my prices affordable and am willing to work within your budget. I'm also happy to work out payment plans if you're tight on cash.
My designs are clean and simple, nothing too fancy... not yet, anyway (I'm getting there). I would love the opportunity to work on more film sites, particularly ones in which a filmmaker can provide me with large still images from the film so that I can get a bit more creative/sophisticated with the design. Of course, I'll also work with your input.

Thus far, I've done mostly writer sites, so I'm not sure how well those will give you an idea of what I can do with a film site. I'm on the hunt for an assistant/intern to work for D-Word founder, omnipresent host, and all-around galactic overlord Doug Block ("51 Birch Street") in the distribution and outreach phase of his new film, "The Kids Grow Up", as well as some work on several other feature docs. Our ideal candidate has a clear interest and ambition to work in documentary production, is a fast learner and fearless starter, and does not shy away from hard work. Internship would begin ASAP. Social media skills a plus.
Our office is located in Dumbo, Brooklyn. This is an unpaid internship, but a small travel- and meals stipend will be given – not to mention priceless knowledge and contacts. Also, we're small enough that a prospective candidate would find her- or himself in the middle of the hurricane, so to speak, but we're also big enough to work with some of the top broadcasters in the world.

We are very fortunate to also have the opportunity to conclude the festival by showing four important works by this pioneer, Pare Lorentz. All of these are documentaries that inspire the best in all of us – films that address issues of social justice, political strife, and survival in a world with declining natural resources. Each screening will be followed by a discussion, with filmmakers and special guests in attendance.

Dhondup Wangchen is a Tibetan filmmaker recently sentenced to 6 years for subversion in China. Amnesty International fears that he is being tortured.
Wangchen’s 25-minute documentary, Leaving Fear Behind (www.leavingfearbehind.com), shows Tibetans in the Amdo region expressing their views on the Dalai Lama, the Beijing Olympics and Chinese legislation.

Our February DocuClub will take place on Wednesday, February 24, 7 p.m., at DCTV, located at 87 Lafayette Street (at Walker; take N/R/Q/6 trains to Canal).
We will screen a rough cut of PAUL GOODMAN CHANGED MY LIFE by Jonathan Lee. The first documentary about Paul Goodman, the late social critic, poet, philosopher of education, or, as he called himself, "man of letters in the old-fashioned sense," it follows a biographical through-line and is structured around interviews with family, friends, peers, and activists from the peace, educational reform, and gay movements who today are found in Maine, Minnesota, Massachusetts, California, West Virginia, New York City, Vermont, Paris, and Catalonia, Spain. The interviews are interwoven with archival footage of Goodman and major events in which he was involved and photos made available by his widow Sally. Director/Producer Jonathan Lee served as producer of the FEAR OF DISCLOSURE PROJECT, a series of videos that explore the act of revealing that one is HIV+ or has AIDS, which began with a video by the late Phil Zwickler and David Wojnarowicz. Under Lee's direction, the project produced and distributed (IN)VISIBLE WOMEN, Ellen Spiro and Marina Alvarez, NON, JE NE REGRETTE RIEN (NO REGRET), Marlon T. Riggs, and OUT IN SILENCE & NOT A SIMPLE STORY, Christine Choy. From 1995-2003, Lee was the founder/director of the Maine Speakout Project, a statewide organization that trained and deployed volunteer speakers to share their personal experiences as sexual minority Mainers with mainstream groups throughout the state. In 2003, Lee returned to New York City to begin working on PAUL GOODMAN CHANGED MY LIFE.
Associate Producer Robert Hawk has been a longtime advisor to filmmakers and film festivals, has had his own business, ICI (Independent Consultation for Independents) for over 13 years, and been a part of the independent film scene for 23 years. Producer credits include Dan Geller and Dayna Goldfine's acclaimed documentary, BALLETS RUSSES. Starting with his involvement in documentary as a researcher on Rob Epstein's Oscar-winning THE TIMES OF HARVEY MILK, he has been credited with discovering and/or nurturing the talents of such filmmakers as Epstein, Nathaniel Kahn (MY ARCHITECT), Kevin Smith (beginning with CLERKS), Ed Burns (BROTHERS McMULLEN), David Siegel and Scott McGehee (DEEP END; BEE SEASON), and Geller & Goldfine. He has also consulted on hundreds of documentaries, including Oscar winners/nominees such as COMMON THREADS: TALES FROM THE QUILT, COMPLAINTS OF A DUTIFUL DAUGHTER, and REGRET TO INFORM.
Editor Kimberly Reed is a filmmaker living in New York City. She was named one of Filmmaker Magazine’s “25 New Faces of Independent Film,” and has been awarded a Yaddo Artists’ Community Fellowship, a Squaw Valley Community of Writers Workshop Fellowship, and a spot in Al Gore’s Current TV Symposium on the Future of Non-Fiction Film. Her work has been featured four consecutive years at IFP’s Independent Film Week. Her film PRODIGAL SONS — a co-production with BBC Storyville, Sundance Channel, and CBC/Canada — has been shown around the world in festivals and on television. It was also screened in rough cut at DocuClub in April 2008.
Our moderator will be Basil Tsiokos, who has been a Programming Associate (Documentary Features) for the Sundance Film Festival since 2005. He also serves as a consultant for filmmakers and festivals, offering project feedback and advice on festival and promotional strategy. He was the Executive and Artistic Director of NewFest: The New York LGBT Film Festival between 1996 and 2008. Tsiokos has also served as a Coordinator of the IFP’s No Borders Co-Production Market and has guest curated at the Jacob Burns Film Center and for the Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival and Germany’s touring Verzaubert Film Festival. Basil has served on festival juries and panels for the Atlantic Film Festival, Berlin International Film Festival, Cleveland International Film Festival, Full Frame, IFP, LaCinemaFe, Outfest, SXSW, and the AIVF. His writing occasionally appears in indieWIRE, and he can be found on Twitter as @1basil1.
