Hi Doug,
Just finished a big project and can't keep everything. Time to start the next one! Hopefully we won't need three AVIDs, two cameras and 16 terrabytes of storage on the next one....exhausting!

Curses, you're not selling a Sony DSR-11 deck for a ridiculously low price.

Doug,
you in the market for a DSR-11?
i've been giving some thought to selling mine...

Doug Block
Fri 19 Oct 2007Link

Might be, Riley. Have one already but would be good to have a second for clones. It would have to be pretty cheap, though, because it's probably overkill for what I need.

Hi Andrea,
Congrats on having your work screened at the AFI Fest -- your world premiere no less! Your website and trailer are fascinating, as is the concept of the 1000 Journals. We are very happy for you, and also glad that you have joined us here at the D-Word.

(I'm not quite sure why the Topic Cops erased your post in "Shameless Self Promotion" because many, many others have done the same thing; and as far as double-posting goes, i think it kind of makes sense for you to post both in the public and private topics b/c not all members read the public postings...)

Anyways, congratulations again and have a wonderful time! If I can make it out the ArcLight, I certainly will stop by and say hi.

Scarlett, thanks for the posting. Nice to see a film festival in the US that does not require entrance fees and will on-post to other groups if you like, via Cinema Nova. They have a terrific network of independent filmmakers from several countries. Good luck!
