DOCS IN PROGRESS WEDNESDAY, MAY 24, 2006 - WASHINGTON DC
Docs in Progress is a bimonthly film series where documentary
filmmakers screen their works in progress for the public. Screenings
are followed up by a feedback session with the audience. Next

Reverend Willie Wilson created sparks when he delivered a graphic

among African American teenagers. His sermon contrasts with the words
of poet Kenneth Morrison who delivers a lament and commentary on the
challenges of being young, black, and gay.
THE LAST COLONY by Rebecca Kingsley

quest for self-determination intersects with issues of race, power,
and the constitutional balancing act between the federal and local
government.
