Optomen Productions seeks an associate producer for a reality series
pilot to broadcast on a major US cable network. Associate Producer
will work with executive producer, researching and supporting all
production needs, including expert and subject casting, scheduling
and conducting interviews and shoots; locating and acquiring footage;
securing all consent and release forms and clearances for footage;
arranging transcription, developing storyline, making transcript
selects and providing support during post production.
Associate Producer will be responsible for all paperwork required,
including music cue sheets, style sheets, etc., and will occasionally
write and edit elements of the show. AP must demonstrate good
interviewing skills, field production skills and fiscal
responsibility and must be willing to perform any additional tasks
required by the executive producer. This is a 17 week commitment to
begin immediately with potential to continue if the series is picked
up.
This is a full time 17 week commitment with travel and weekend
flexibility. Candidates should possess excellent research and writing
skills, demonstrate creativity, responsibility and organizational
abilities and must exhibit diplomacy and cooperation in all aspects
of production. Candidates must also be organized, responsible and
accurate and be able to work under pressure and without constant
supervision.Prior reality/ factual series experience preferred.
