Hi All,

I'm wondering if anyone out there might be interested in coming out to
South India to help me with a doc that I'm developing/ shooting on the
international eco/ spiritual community of Auroville. I'll be here for
the next 1-2 years and would be interested in working closely with
someone who is good with ideas and people. I can't really offer much
in the way of payment..... I'll rent the house and keep it running.
I'll be in Montreal for late November in the event that anyone is
interested in meeting up to discuss and explore options.

Hi there,
I am putting together a strong production team for an ITVS-funded film for national broadcast on PBS. I need: an editor experienced in character development and story structure – a producer for film outreach, promotion, fundraising, and distribution – and an executive producer. The documentary in production is on the Iraqi refugees in the U.S. Please contact: Jehanharney@aol.com

The Going Green Film Festival is currently taking submissions for our April 2010 Film Festival in Beverly Hills, CA. This is the only festival of its kind to focus exclusively on green filmmaking, from production to content!

Shorts/Features are being considered for three main categories in the festival:

*GREEN PRODUCTION, where a film’s production worked to lessen the carbon footprint left on the planet (with sufficient documentation of this process);

*OUR PLANET, where the film’s topic covers third world issues, ecology, nature or the environment; and

*HYBRID/ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION, where the film features a hybrid vehicle, bicycle, electric scooter or public transportation.

You think your film is Green enough? Submit it for a chance to win a hybrid, tons of other filmmaker prizes and more.

I'm looking for a web developer to implement a creative web design that includes a CMS and multimedia (photos, video) elements. This website is for a non-profit in its first year, doing very exciting things in DC. Big on enthusiasm with a small-ish budget. Please email me at spfoerster@watchstepfilms.com if interested, or if you can recommend someone.

Many thanks!

Vivian Norris de Montaigu, a producer based in Paris, has contacted me to help her find a good videographer in the Washington / Baltimore area to shoot one or two interviews on October 22nd or 23rd. It's in conjunction with a documentary about Pres. Obama's mother. My usual people are all booked; can anyone give me some leads? I don't know Dr. Norris de Montaigu personally, but she comes highly recommended by a friend in the area of microfinance, a subject that I've dealt with a lot. She's also developing a feature film based on the life and work of Muhammad Yunus of Grameen Bank in Bangladesh, Nobel Peace Prize winner in 2006 and someone I've also worked with a great deal. She wants to shoot in high def, and would rely on the camera person to arrange for equipment and quite possibly also a sound recordist. Here's a link with info about Norris de Montaigu:
