Everyone checkout the DOCStore for documentaries on DVD from around the world. We've got 355 titles for sale and counting at http://www.documentarychannel.com/store. The DOCStore is part of The Documentary Channel which has been broadcast on DISH Network 197 since January 2006. Our programs are also online at sling.com and DocChannel YouTube. Thanks.
I own a firm called The DubHouse that is a resource for independent filmmakers. We can author your finalized film to DVD, replicate your discs and print any custom packaging needed. (plants in NY, L.A., FL, IN & NC). We give favorable rates to independents. We also are starting a Media on Demand service where your customers can download your movie and pay on-line (like itunes). Let me know if I can be of assistance.
Hi all! I am a previously-New-York-based filmmaker who just moved to Paris, France. I am currently working on my first feature doc, as well as running a program for a film festival based here in Paris – and I'm really interested in meeting fellow filmmakers here and learning a bit about the French/European industry.
Please reach out to me via D-Word, or directly at firstname.lastname@example.org, if you know of anyone I might like to meet, have any ideas or suggestions for me or are interested in meeting with me yourself! Thanks in advance, looking forward to hearing from you.
Hope all is well!
A group of local filmmakers have started a coop (if you will) of gear and we are working together to be able to rent out equipment for great prices.
I personally have a EX3 available that I would love to share when we are not using it. We rent it out for $750 a week or $250 a day – comes with memory. It is a pretty sweet deal and a great camera!
Drop me a line and let me know if we can help you get your film done...
I'm wondering if anyone out there might be interested in coming out to South India to help me with a doc that I'm developing/ shooting on the international eco/ spiritual community of Auroville. I'll be here for the next 1-2 years and would be interested in working closely with someone who is good with ideas and people. I can't really offer much in the way of payment..... I'll rent the house and keep it running. I'll be in Montreal for late November in the event that anyone is interested in meeting up to discuss and explore options.
