Need an Associate Producer in Northern Colorado...paid position...
We're making an amazing Doc!
Looking for a person that is detail oriented and can handel several different tasks at the same time... Pre production planing, production details, and post production crazyness – and still keep it all together. You'll be the Producers 'Right-hand guy or gal."
The project will require about a year in production with a marketing period of about an addtional year. Consistancy is GOOD. I'm looking for good computer skills, organizational skills and the ability to do on line research. A Doc-film background is very helpful.

I have a couple brand new, unused Sennheiser butt-plugs (ie wireless transmitter) to sell off. They're $240 new, and I'll sell them for $200.
Ummm...you might have more luck making a sale if you call them something else.
At least they're new.
I've never heard them called anything else more elegant that actually makes sense, but I'm open to suggestions...
I'll try them out if you want to know they work... ;)

Zeitgeist Films will be releasing two great documentaries on DVD this fall. The first, coming out October 28, BILLY THE KID, is the first feature from director Jennifer Venditti and is a wonderful film about a fifteen-year-old kid in a small town in Maine who is both different and wonderfully unique. Info can be found here:
The other, which comes out November 18, is UP THE YANGTZE, a film by Yung Chang that has been a great sleeper box office hit this summer, about people who are affected by the huge public project of China's Three Gorges Dam, and the tourist boats that travel the Yanqtze River. Gorgeously shot and engaging, this is a great cinematic doc. More info is here:
Both are available direct through http://www.zeitgeitstvideo.com or through Amazon, Netflix, or your favourite store.

Slamdance Film Festival and Current are presenting a call for short documentary films, providing filmmakers the opportunity to participate in the Park City experience. Five selected filmmakers will shine on the big screen in January 2009 as part of a Current and Slamdance curated shorts program, as well as get a chance to have their uploaded documentary considered for acquisition for Current TV.
So shred the festival rejection letters and upload that short documentary that you KNOW the world has got to see to current.com/slamdance
