“SHOOTING POVERTY” Film Screening and Networking Event, October 26, 7 p.m., New York City
Arts Engine, Oxfam, and Shooting People are proud to present a special screening of three short documentaries exposing the true cost of armed violence on poor communities around the world.
The films were made by young independent filmmakers from India, Brazil and Burundi as part of “Shooting Poverty,” a film competition sponsored by Oxfam (www.shootingpoverty.org).
The filmmakers will be present for a post-screening Q&A and a networking reception. (You must be 21 or older to attend the reception.)
