Los Angeles Times says... Morgan Neville and Harry Pallenberg's irreverent, insightful 'Shotgun Freeway' is surely one of the most ambitious documentaries on Los Angeles ever attempted..... - Kevin Thomas, Los Angeles Times

Hollywood Reporter thinks..... "A breezy, informative look at Los Angeles history and culture... the films angle and talkative, analytical interviewees stitch together a thought provoking portrait of a teaming metropolis unlike any other." - David Hunter, Hollywood Reporter

Before "L.A. Confidential", there was "Shotgun Freeway"-- the groundbreaking 1996 documentary about Los Angeles coming to grips with it's own history. Against a backdrop of never-before-seen archive footage on the L.A., Shotgun Freeway presents a diverse group of "Angelinos" who guide the film through their own past as well as the city's. We get crime scribe James Ellroy reliving his youth as a burglar, Actor/writer Buck Henry's tour of Hollywood fakery, Jazzman Buddy Collette's trip down Central Avenue, Historian Mike Davis' tour of LA's eventual Armageddon, and writer Joan Didion's take on LA's own ephemerality. From the Beaches to the Valley, "Shotgun Freeway" will show you a Los Angeles you never knew existed.

Directed by Morgan Neville & Harry Pallenberg

BONUS MATERIALS include Director's Commentary, The Lost Tim Leary Interview, and three rare promotional films: Hollywood 1931, LA Police Tour, The Free Way.

The movie My Flesh & Blood opened this weekend, and they need some
support at the box office, so if you have any interest in the movie,
please buy a ticket today!

They just won 2 awards at IDFA, 2 awards at Sundance, shortlisted for
the Academy and will probably get a nomination, and not only that
it's an incredible film that gets me choked up just reading the New
York Times review.

But all that may be eclipsed if they do poorly at the box office,
which would be bad news for all of us, so help get the word out, and
help get some people in the seats, today!

"In what has been called the year of the documentary, "My Flesh and
Blood" stands beside "Capturing the Friedmans" and "Fog of War" as an
unforgettable experience".
-Stephen Holden, NY Times

"My Flesh and Blood" etches and unforgettable portrait"
-Kevin Thomas, LA Times

"There's no denying that "My Flesh and Blood" is one of this year's
best documentaries and that the experiences of this family from
Fairfield will resonate with moviegoers from around the country.
***** Five Star Rating
-Jonathan Curiel, SF Chronicle

"You'd have to be a stone to not be affected by "My Flesh and Blood".
-Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly
