Suzanne Hillinger is a Brooklyn-based documentary filmmaker and editor. Most recently, she produced the feature documentary "Norman Lear: Just Another Version of You" with Loki Films and PBS American Masters, which opened the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. Previously, she produced and directed episodes of CNN's documentary series "Morgan Spurlock Inside Man", covering topics of Immigration, Drought, Animal Shelters, and College Sports. "Morgan Spurlock Inside Man" received the 2013 IDA Award for Best Series. Other work includes The History Channel feature-documentary "The Naturalized" (Associate Producer) and short documentary "The Faux Real" (Producer, Director, Editor) which premiered at AFI Docs Documentary Festival and won the 2010 Best Short Documentary at the Coney Island Film Festival. Suzanne has a MA in Media Studies from The New School University, and a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Boston University. Prior to her documentary work, Suzanne worked for four years as a commercial casting director.
