Suzanne Hillinger is a Brooklyn-based documentary filmmaker and editor. She currently produces and edits short-form documentaries for non-profit organizations and socially conscious companies. Her first documentary THE FAUX REAL premiered at Silverdocs Documentary Festival and won Best Short Documentary at the Coney Island Film Festival. She also regularly works with Emmy award-winning production company, Flicker Flacker Films, where she recently worked on The History Channel feature documentary, THE NATURALIZED. Suzanne has a MA in Media Studies from The New School University, and a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Boston University. Prior to her documentary work, Suzanne worked for four years as a commercial casting director.
