Suzanne Hillinger is a Brooklyn-based documentary filmmaker and editor. Most recently, she produced and directed episodes of CNNâ€™s documentary series â€œMorgan Spurlock Inside Manâ€, covering topics of Immigration, Drought, Animal Shelters, and College Sports. â€œMorgan Spurlock Inside Manâ€ received the 2013 IDA Award for Best Series. Other work includes The History Channel feature-documentary â€œThe Naturalizedâ€ (Associate Producer) and short documentary â€œThe Faux Realâ€ (Producer, Director, Editor) which premiered at AFI Docs Documentary Festival and won the 2010 Best Short Documentary at the Coney Island Film Festival. Suzanne has a MA in Media Studies from The New School University, and a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Boston University. Prior to her documentary work, Suzanne worked for four years as a commercial casting director.
