Bio

My formal training is in theater production (Duke University) and still photography (Brooks Institute of Photography).

I've been a commercial still shooter since 1990 and have worked on jobs big and small in over 20 countries around the world. I've also been fortunate to work on a wide variety of other productions, including theatrical productions on Broadway and many independent films, both documentaries and narratives.

A relative newcomer to the world of documentary filmmaking, my experience includes various crew roles on separate docs in Colombia (audio, camera, DP, translator/interviewer) and Vietnam (audio, camera). I worked on the Vietnam War documentaries "My Vietnam, Your Iraq" and "Just Like Me". Currently I'm part of a small production company in Nashville, Penumbra Entertainment, that produces and develops commercial videos/films and short documentary and narrative films. I write (a little), produce (a little more) and direct (a little less), but am enjoying learning the ins and outs (and J's, K's and L's) of editing.

I have recently produced a narrative feature in the horror/thriller genre called "The Legend Of Lake Hollow".
