lulu is an award winning filmmaker and documentary editor. She was on the team of "Gideon's Army,’ an HBO film that received the 2013 U.S. Documentary Editing Award at Sundance and was nominated for an Emmy. Her production company Shugah Works focuses on the connection between society and the individual. Their first film "Holler Back - [not] Voting in an American Town" won Best Documentary at the Sunscreen Film Festival and screened at the JFK school of Government at Harvard University. They are currently working on a documentary which intimately portrays the growth and subsequent dismemberment of Occupy Wall Street Movement in one of the most comprehensive examples of an over-militarized police force – working in conjunction with a network of federal anti-terrorist fusion centers to survey, sabotage, harass and arrest activists. She’s edited & produced for ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, PBS, MTV, VH1, USA & FOX, and was nominated for a Business Emmy for CNBC's "Game On! The Unauthorized History of Video Games."
