Bio
B Ruby Rich is a critic who writes on documentary as well as a range of other genres. She is the author of Chick Flicks: Theories and Memories of the Feminist Film Movement and the forthcoming New Queer Cinema: The Director's Cut (Duke, spring 2013). She is Professor of Film and Digital Media at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and directs the Social Documentation M.A. Program.
