Suad Bushnaq is a musically multilingual professional film music composer of Syrian, Palestinian, and Bosnian roots with dual Canadian-Jordanian citizenship, whose music encompasses diverse musical styles, ranging from Middle-Eastern to orchestral, jazz, and world. She holds a Bachelor in Music Composition from the world-renowned Schulich School of Music at McGill University and is the only Arab woman recipient of a music composition scholarship from there . She is one of the very few professional Arab women composers in the world, and is the only female Arab member of the Screen Composers Guild of Canada.
