Bio

 Billy D. Marchese is a passionate 20-year veteran in the entertainment industry. He has traveled to 66 countries on 6 continents logging somewhere in the ballpark of 751,680 air-miles, trekked more than 6,741 miles and climbed to 25,200 feet for National Geographic, Discovery, BBC, and the like to some of the most remote regions on Earth.

 

 Billy's rich experiences as an award-winning Director of Photography, Content Producer and Editor, have provided him the right ingredients to shape and communicate content into state of the art messages.

 

 In 2001, he served as Director/Cinematographer on the award winning documentary film Beyond the Summit: The Everest Environmental Expedition Narrated by Sharon Stone. Billy spent 3 months in Bhutan, India and Nepal lensing the documentary. BTS received the prestigious Cine Golden Eagle Award for Best Documentary.in 2001 and the award was presented the award by Bill Moyers.

 

 Since 2001, Billy has lensed, edited and produced a wide assortment of commercial, concert films and documentaries. Highlights include the feature documentary, Everest-A Climb for Peace, Narrated by Orlando Bloom and currently airing on PBS, the to be released for syndication series Wizards Eye Global Circumnavigation Project, featuring world-class kayaker Tyler Bradt, and the short documentary, Relatives, which will be playing at the Museum of the Native American in Washington D.C in 2017.

 

Billy's professional memberships include the International Cinematographers Guild, International Documentary Association and Worldwide Outfitter and Guides Association.
