Synopsis

Joseph, Irina, Amina, and Subash have two things in common: they are teenagers, and they have recently arrived in Seattle as refugees. In Starting Again, young people from Burma, Russia, Somalia, and Bhutan help us understand, through their own lives and in their own words, the challenges they face on a daily basis since coming to the United States. The documentary includes footage filmed by the students themselves.
