Bio

I guess that in an idealistic kind of way I'd like to make a difference with my films, show people something new, different, something that can bring to their attention things they have not had the chance to encounter or, (even better) show a new POV on something they thought they knew about. Archive of Dreams was my first seriously funded short film about an old man living in Northern Italy who's collected an enormous amount of films on film; form french new wave to american horrors, you name it. It's been doing well at small festivals (Jim Poole Awards in Edinburgh where it took both audience and jury award and at the Turin Film Festival where it won the Chicca Richelmy prize)and is still going strong (screening in London International Doc Film Fest in May'10) 2 years after its completion. I'm currently shooting a Doc in Edinburgh about the emotional upheaval that the birth of an unexpected child brought to a budding romance and I'm developing a feature length called Babel's Market set in Europe's largest Market in Turin, Italy and dealing with issues of identity for young second generation immigrants. I hope to manage to contribute and share stories and advice in this community (within the limitations of family/working life). See you guys around...
